Dim Mak (NJ) Announces New Album "The Emergence Of Reptilian Altars," New Vocalist; Album Art Posted

[center] [/center] Willowtip recording artists Dim Mak, which extreme thrash and death metal historians know as the continuation of legendary death thrash outfit Ripping Corpse, have posted a slew of updates regarding their status and upcoming full-length. In addition to having launched a fresh Myspace layout, the band's new album, "Emergence Of Reptilian Altars," features stunning artwork by Alex Eckman-Lawn. Guitarist Shaune Kelley (who toured extensively with Hate Eternal last year) also reports that founding Dim Mak frontman has stepped down, and since been replaced by longtime friend Joseph Capizzi. Behemoth (PL) Frontman Finds Bone-Marrow Donor; Band Prepares To Release New DVD, Trailers Available

[center] [/center] According to a posting on the Polish-language version of Behemoth's official web site, the band's 33-year-old leukemia-stricken guitarist/vocalist, Adam "Nergal" Darski, has found a bone marrow donor that is a genetic match. He will soon undergo radiation to destroy his old bone marrow — where blood is made but which also contains the leukemia cells — and replace it with healthy donor bone marrow, which will then — hopefully — go on to produce healthy blood.
