One such band has undoubtedly created a sound for themselves and caught the attention of Century Media Records recently. Mick Kenney is a highly respected titan of vitriolic underground metal in the form of his legendary band Anaal Nathrakh and Brandan Schieppati is best known as the curator of Bleeding Through, one of the most aggressive and innovative American metal bands in recent memory.

[center] [/center] Hot off the heels of releasing one of 2011's most anticipated hardcore releases in "Do Not Resuscitate" via Bullet Tooth, Most Precious Blood frontman Rob Fusco has posted demo material from a new project, Fires and Floods. The group notably features ex-Shai Hulud guitarist Matt Canning as well, and rounding out the group is Canning's The Twilight Collective comrade Phil Bryer (guitar) in addition to Emidio Capponi (bass) and Sean Ward (drums). Thus far, Fires and Floods has recorded one demo track, which can be heard below:

Foundation (GA) Announces New Album "When The Smoke Clears," European Tour Set To Kickoff January 21st

[center] [/center] Foundation just wrapped up recording their new album which is set to hit stores April 19th from Bridge Nine Records. Titled "When The Smoke Clears," this album is 10 tracks of "pure, unadulterated hardcore" (Decoy Music). "When The Smoke Clears" was recorded throughout December in Atlanta, GA with Matthew Washburn who is known for his work with bands like Mastodon and Norma Jean.
