Alpha & Omega (CA) Prepare For Touring With Reign Supreme, Mother Of Mercy

Los Angeles based hardcore/metal band, Alpha & Omega, are touring the US this summer, as well as appearing at Liskfest and the Great American Hardcore Fest in Boston. The band, no strangers to crisscrossing the country, who've toured with the likes of Trash Talk, Internal Affairs, Madball among others, will be making two cross country trips. They also played at this year's Sound and Fury Fest in July in Oxnard CA. SECTION 8 interview VISTA: Who's in the band and who does what? TIM: Kasey sings, Drew plays guitar, Mike plays bass and Tim plays drums. VISTA: How long has SECTION 8 been together? DREW: A year and a half. VISTA: Is there any meaning behind the name SECTION 8 and where did the name come from? TIM: It's military discharge for being insane. It kinda fit us, our music style. KASEY: We had a bunch of other names. We all kinda voted on that one and that's about it. It's kind of a catchy name. I like it. We all voted on it. VISTA: For people out there who have never heard SECTION 8, describe the style of music you play.
