[center] [/center] Having just wrapped up their 2010 summer tour in Europe, California's First Blood, who in their ranks feature former Terror bassist Carl Schwarz and current members from Alcatraz, will release their long-awaited sophomore full-length next month. The band has recently been performing with Merauder drummer Bobby Blood behind the kit, with whom a new video interview was conducted during First Blood's most recent North American tour in support of Earth Crisis (see below). [center] [/center] Heaven Shall Burn, Germany’s hardest hitting hybrid of metal and hardcore, has launched a brand new track, “The Omen”, from the forthcoming record, Invictus, on the band’s completely redesigned MySpace page. Along with “The Omen”, Heaven Shall Burn even added the intro to the album, to give listeners the full flavour of the opening track of Invictus. As on their previous albums, the Icelandic composer and friend, Ólafur Arnalds, did the aforementioned atmospheric intro, as well as the album’s outro.
