New York’s Black Anvil has begun recording the follow-up to their debut album Time Insults The Mind. The band is recording with engineer ‘General’ George Fullan (The Rolling Stones, Dream Theater) at Mark “The Animal” Mendoza’s (Twisted Sister) studio in Long Island, NY. The new album is titled Triumvirate and will include the tracks “The Evil Of All Roots”, “What Is Life If Not Now!”, “Angels To Dust”, “Ultimate Reality”, “With Transparent Blood” and “Dead and Left”. Triumvirate’s central theme will be that of “Beginning and End”. A late spring release date is expected with more album details to be announced shortly.

Additionally, Black Anvil will take part in the 2010 Scion Rock Fest. This free event will be held on March 13th in Columbus, OH. Complete festival details including line-up and RSVP information can be found here.
