High On Fire will enter the studio in August to begin work on their fifth studio album. Pre-production will commence in Los Angeles with producer Greg Fidelman (Metallica, Slayer) at the helm. According to frontman Matt Pike, "We look forward to sharing the dark seas of our new riffs and tragic stories. Soon the next saga of High on Fire's world will be known." An early-2010 release via E1 Music is expected. High on Fire have tapped Early Man as support on their upcoming August tour throughout California.
