wisdom in chains to me has accomplished something not many bands have, they have manage to accumulate a catalog of record after record. Back to back to back for as long has they have put out albums. I know most will consider it sacrilegious but to me they have reached a level only reach by a few bands in this scene if any at all really.I actually can't think of single band that has had this many solid releases. Every effort put forwards is an gold. I can put all their song after song and i won't find a dull moment in the catalog. Legends of this genre live on their one release or their first one. This is not the case for wisdom in chains. Unlike legends who are magnified with revisionist eyes. Wisdom do it by concrete example.

The most important aspect of wisdom in chains, One of the only remaining band in this scene, where the struggle has not gone out of them. At this point the struggle has gone out of hardcore. No one is talking union, no one is taking truth, no one is talking compassion for the working man. The album speaks with honesty something so hard to find. I feel that unlike many bands that have put out multiple albums the fire is still burning hard. The difficulty of being a band is harder the longer you go toe to toe with time. I always fear that in the absence of support that this band truly deserves that they will feel unloved and unappreciated, they will go away. If i could move mountains i would but all i can do is write words in hope that others discover my favorite band, hands down. There are rock mythology of band that are truly human and represent the people. This band is not a myth nor a conglomerate effort to give the masses false working class heroes. They live in that area of the map of the world called legit.

We all have our own opinion and ideas of how to fight and fix this world. I find myself at time not in agreement with everything if we look in the details but i can say when the shit goes down, Wisdom in chains will be the first band and maybe one of the only one to be there when it counts. Missing links is another testament to where the heart of hardcore lies and it's most important aspect. The human struggle for humanity. I can write listen to this album and learn from it but you can't teach real. You either are or you aren't.
