Las Vegas-based hardcore unit Cold Existence recently posted a blog entry on their official Myspace page offering numerous updates on the band's recent and upcoming activity, including signing with Germany's Filled With Hate Records, partaking in the latest issue of Born To Hate's Video Magazine, and sharing the stage with Agnostic Front, Death By Stereo, Donnybrook!, Rhinocerous, Know The Score, and more. The band also recently performed at the Hardcore For Haiti Festival in California.

"First and foremost, it's time to officially announce that we have signed with Filled With Hate Records who will be handling the release of the new E.P. "Mob Firing/Six Terror Six". We are mad hyped to be part of the FWH family. I personally am meeting with the owner next week in Germany. I can't say enough good things about them and besides their reputation speaks for itself. We will be announcing a release date in the next couple of weeks.

The video for the first release "Fueled By Hate" off the new E.P. is live on our page. Take a look at it and leave us a comment. We had a great time filming it. We brought in some of our closest brothers for the shoot. Mad thanks to Eastside Joe for accommodating us as always. Our boys from Born To Hate video mag repped hard on the set and we can't thank you enough. Same thing for our SOSF brothers that were all individually invited and held it down showing up on a weekday morning to rep the band and the family. One family one love!



Very important show announcements. January 19th we were honored to support my good friends Agnostic Front on their 25th anniversary tour here in Las Vegas. The show is even sweeter due to the fact that our brothers from Born To Hate Video Mag filmed us for their 5th volume. Everyone in the band is mad hyped and honored for this as well as being on the show.



Feb 12th was pure hell when we did an official CD release show at Eastside Joe's with none other than the mighty Donnybrook!, Rhinocerous, and Knock Em Dead.



No official date yet, but this Spring we have been invited to perform on the 2010 Filled With Hate festival in Germany. Full dates for the surrounding tour will be announced soon. No official date for this either, be we have also been invited to perform on the 2010 Summer Of Hate Festival in Ohio. If you've ever been to one of those, you know this is gonna be nothing short of brutal when Cold Existence hits the stage!

Last but not least, we are very proud and happy to announce that we have acquired the first official drummer to the band. Up to this point I have played drums at the shows and Gonzo held guitar down by himself. I am extremely particular about anybody I bring into the band and was willing to go drummer-less for however long it took for the right cat to come along or for us to teach somebody how to play drums that could already rep the band and the family properly. On that note, we welcome Ian Hazel to the band. His first show was Jan 19th in Las Vegas opening for Agnostic Front and Death By Stereo. To put it in simple terms, we once witnessed Ian perform at a show less than a week after taking a bullet to the chest. If that's not Cold Existence material I don't know what is.
